G3N3RATION is an archival project documenting current new media and digital artists. Creatively inspired by the nostalgic craft of newspaper production, G3N3RATION will look like a newspaper but is bound like a book!
The illusion of ephemerality gestures to the tentative ephemerality of new media & digital art along with its tenuous position in the history of art. Publishing a hard copy will give contributors an opportunity to share a physical experience with their audience.
G3N3RATION is radicalizing publishing by entitling each contributor to a percentage of revenue forever. Each transaction will automatically pay out evenly to all the contributors involved.
